The sesshin will be led by zenmaster Ingrid Gyu Ji Igelnick
Ingrid Igelnick met Zen and Master Deshimaru in 1978. She was ordained as a nun in 1984 by Master Kosen, whose transmission, the Shiho, she received in 2015 and became Master Ingrid Gyu Ji Igelnick
At the same time, Ingrid trained in shiatsu (Zen massage) and created Soi-Zen, a kimono and kolomo clothing workshop.
She took charge of the temple Yujo Nyusanji from 2017 to 2024.
She has been practicing alongside her Master since 1992 and assists him in his mission, leads sesshins for several years and teaches kesa sewing.
